We had a really great Christmas trip this year. Gramma, Colin, and I drove up to Washington, DC and stayed with Barbara and Aunt Katie for the 23rd and 24th. We left gramma there for Christmas and Colin and I headed up to New Jersey to celebrate with his family.
We had a really nice gift exchange at Colin's mom's house, and Aunt Karen gave big pile of awesome stuff to Baby including an adorable blanket with an elephant on it (so we won't ever forget where it came from)! Her first Christmas presents!
Colin's cousins put on an amazing holiday dinner, with really yummy ravioli, stuffed mushrooms, and (Colin's favorite), ham with pineapple sauce. We had a big "Deal or no Deal" gift exchange and then played a huge game of charades with the "seniors" vs. "juniors". (We were on the juniors team, of course, and had a very impressive victory!)
We stayed the night with Karen, and Colin's dad & Eileen were staying there, too. When we got up the next morning, we went out to an awesome diner breakfast, and then went back to Karen's to play a board game and exchange gifts before getting back in the car to ride down to DC again.
We spent the next day doing some DC sightseeing, waving at the white house, and exploring Georgetown.
It was, sadly, quite warm while we were there, and it definitely didn't even consider snowing... but we had a great time anyway.
